Nah, it's pretty cheap because many of us who do have one don't want 'em anymore!
Seriously ... they're only mounted on the surface side. Drill 12 holes, insert well nuts, and screw it in. Needless to say, they're not all that secure either, so don't expect to be able to load much up there.
You're better off investing in an aftermarket gutter-clamp type.
