Alternator - any kits available?

It looks like I have to replace my alternator, it drained a brand new battery so flat that it won't charge. I got one tested that is used and there was a problem with it. I was wondering a few things, is there a kit for the Bosch alternator that I can use to rebuild? any suggestions? Also - I have 3 alternators that are the same but pooched in some way, i guess I could "frankenstien" 1 good alternator for the 3. any suggestions on this?
