Trying to ethically sell a car.

What's the problem? The slap? Do a search on the topic.

Our '90 744Ti has had a slap since 150,000 miles when we bought it 5 years ago. It now has 230,000 miles and the whole family still likes to drive the car even though we have a 855R. There are a cou[le of places near my home where I can slide it around a couple of corners and have a ball without offending anyone.

If you feel aprehensive, have a good Volvo tech check the car out and show his findings to prospective owners. My dealer will check a used car as if they were going to certify it and give me a written two-page report for one hour's labor, add an ghour for a compression check.

Throw a set of snow tires on it and sell it as a winter driver. (buy a set used)

If the car is in average condition, I'd ask for book at least, considering your repairs. If you live near me, I'd give it a look.

We bought our '88 745 eight years ago with 113k on it, and just sold it for $1500.

BTW - the only time we've had trouble with any of our 740s is when we did not drive them pending sale!!!
