I will apologize in advance if this is a subject that has already been covered, but I can't find the information I need using the search function.

I just bought a '68 142s project car/daily driver and the interior is in terrible shape.

issue #1: I have heard that 240 seats will fit in my 142, but the seating position will be a little high. Is this true? I bought some 240 seats and took out the old seats and i'm not sure what part of the 240 seat is supposed to bolt to the u-shaped bracket. Do I need to cut, drill, fabricate, etc.?

issue #2: will 242 doors and/or door panels fit on my car?

issue #3: i want to mount a 240 steering wheel in place of the huge cracked plastic wheel that's on there now. what years, if any, 240 wheels are compatible?
