Differance between a B20E and B20F engine 140-160

I have a 1973 1800ES right now, but tomorrow i may make an addition to my Volvo family. I'm looking at a 1972 142E advertised for $900 with only 115000 miles on it. Now when I go to look at the car I’m going to run it through the same kind of look over I wish I had done with my 1800ES. I wish this car had the B20E engine though for the obvious reason. So here is my question, how can I visually tell the difference between the two engines?
