2 fault codes, help please 700 1990

Guys,
My 740 (regina) is giving me a fault code I can not track down.
With the wire in socket 6, I get a code of 143. I have found info
on that code that "IF" my car had a motronic 1.8 system this
would point to a front knock sensor.
This is a regina car, am I missing something?
I thought motronic and regina were mutually exclusive.

Also,
I am getting a socket 2 fault code of 321. The book I have, not
a dealer book, says cold start injector signal shorted or missing.
When I do the diagnostic on the cold start valve it appears to cycle
just fine, (it sounds like a solenoid being rapidly turned on and
off during the test). So it seems to me the the valve is getting
the signal to actuate.

All suggestions welcome.
