sagging rear end

Hello all,

I am away from the house on a working vacation, hence the "claiming to be...."

My 1987 240DL (270,900 miles) is looking a bit low in the rear. It doesn't have the same ride height that I've seen on other sedans. My Volvo is the first car I've owned with coil springs instead of leaf springs, so I am a bit new to this system. I read somewhere that worn-out trailing arm bushings can cause the rear end to sag. Is that accurate? What are some other possible culprits?

Thanks in advance for your help!
Keith
