Volvo... Faster Than You Thought!

This should be a good forum topic... and it doesn't involve abusive language!

I want to know if there is anyone who has raced someone else with their volvo and beat them? And If you did beat them, what kind of car was it, did it have any modifications, and did your volvo itself have any modifications? I figure this would be an interesting thread if people wanted to share the bright side of their bricks!

Me? Here's what I've raced with the Hearse. All it has right now is free-er flowing exhaust and a K&N Gen 1 air filter. This is my list.

-1999 dodge Dakota w/ V6 and Manual, bagged, and big o'l rims (smoked him)
-1988 Toyota Celica w/ k&N filter (we were pretty much equal, though I usually got the better start)
-1990 Nissan 240SX stock (we were equal all the way to 112 mph when I let off of it coming up to a hill)
-1992 Honda Civic 3 door (Smoked him)
-1986 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z with 350 (kind of a joke, his tires were bald and spun with any acceleration, but we raced, I won, so for now it counts LOL)
-1993 Mitsubishi Mirage stock (smoked him)
-1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse Turbo (I lost, but had him off the line until I heard that turbo spool up and then he was gone... pretty cool though)
-1994 Dodge Neon stock (smoked him)
-1993 Chevy Beretta GT V6 (smoked him)

Now, I know my list isn't that impressive, but it still proves a point: The 4 cylinder, 4400 pound station wagon can still keep wraps on even lightweight V6 and 4 cylinder cars, both import and domestic. I'm kinda happy with it!

Your guys' turn. What have you done with your Volvo?
