The strange thing about it though is that it skips more the hotter the engine is. When I first start it up and run down to the gas station (3 miles) it doesn't skip hardly at all. But later on my return trip it starts to skip more. When it skips it kind of surges forward and then slows down and so on so on. But while it is doing this it does no want to rev past about 3000 rpm. I also think I hear a faint popping sound. Like a backfire maybe but not nearly as loud. Anyway I'm not busy now so I am going to play with my Volvo out in the garage and see if I can figure it out. But, if anyone has any ideas that would be wonderful because this skipping business is becoming quite annoying.
