940 Wagon 3rd seat install

My 940 Wagon does not appear to have the rear brackets that hold the pivit
rods for the seat. I would think they are obvious to see, but when I set the seat in, there is nothing near the spring rods to hold the ends of the rods. I do see the holes for the side brackets, though, and can bolt them in easily.

Does anyone have any suggestions, or have you seen anything like this before? I will proceed with the install of the belts while I try to find out more about this!

Last choice will be to have Volvo do it. But first I will try to find another
940 with a 3rd seat that I can examine.
