Air duct controller 140-160 1974

On my '74 142, I'm re-installing all of the air ducts, and I noticed that they are all controlled by small vacuum hoses attached to a 'domino' looking thing with the buttons on the other side. I've got them all going to the right places, except fo that I can't figure out where to attach the 'master' vaccum hose (the one that attaches to a vacuum source and provides the suction for the other hoses). I was told that this attaches somewhere on the engine, but I can't find it. Any ideas?
