Anyone got full instructions for this mod? I have my kit of parts from a '73 164 to fit to my '68 145, but inspection shows a couple of challenges and I'd like to collect all parts before I pull the 140 apart.
- Yes, the columns are different, but a welder will fix that.
- More seious welding would appear to be needed on the box section ontop of the inner wing, to clear the longer assisted box. Yet the few prior posts don't mention this.
- I also need a double pulley from somewhere. The 164 had a triangle crank not a woodruff key. Would a 240 pulley fit? If someone could post a pic of a B20 belts/pulleys with A/C that would be helpful. Bit rare in the UK.
- Any tips on locations? My alternator is on the right (looking from the front) but some B20's show it on the left. The PAS pump was bottom right on the 164 but it looks like it will foul the steering idler shaft there.
