Greetings All!
I've recently discovered a U.S.-built 165-15 tire for our
140/164's. For years, all I could find were tires made in Brazil,
Korea, or Ubangistan. (And yes--I know that you hot-rodders want
tires three-feet-wide, but that's not my concern at this stage in
life.)
Cooper Tire offers them in their Mastercraft line, #MR-325.
I just got them, so I can't comment yet on how well they wear.
With the foreign rubber, I've had many problems with carcass bulges
and tread separation at around 15K-20K miles.
Gary in Arizona--devoutly hoping that Martha Stewart and Bishop
O'Brien get tossed into the same cell; she can show him flower-
arrangement and he can teach her windshield repair.
