I'm running much-taller-than-stock 215/60/16's on my 745 to compensate for the speedo error, so it is understandable to have some rubbing. Large bumps with the stock springs on the rear did some (cured with iPd overload springs), and at full lock, there's minor skimming on the radius rods. A shorter tire like a 215/50/16 (6.4mm diameter larget than the stock 195/60/15) should not have such issues.
Though many say 225's work, it'll be close, as up front on mine's, there's but just 8mm of clearance between the 215's and the strut tube.
I'm running on Ronal R25's, 16" x 7.5, 20mm offset.
