rear suspension issues 200 1990

i have a 1990 240dl. Suspension has been getting worse and worse the past couple years but i never had the money to fix it...i got it looked at last week and was told all the bushings in the rear are broken and the rear end has twisted putting strain on the drive axel. How hard is it to replace all the bushings and get everything in working order?
