Installing 6 1/2' speakers in a 90-240 or 87-740?

Has anyone had experience with this and found a tried and true method of doing?
In my 240 I have 5 1/2" in the front doors and 4" in the back doors
On the 740 I have 5s in the doors and the rear deck.
