Transmission Fluid in the coolant overflow 900 1992

Hi ,I have a1992 960 with 6cyl . Look and smells like I have trani fluid in my overflow for the coolant. I strongly suspect the radiator has failed.Has anyone else experienced this. My plan is to replace the radiator and fluid. Also to change the trani fluid.
