You can drain the tranny by loosening the pan and letting the oil spill out. On many years there isn't a drain plug for whatever reason. This still leave about 1/2 the fluid inside the torque convertor. Starting the engine and putting it in gear for a few seconds will help get some of that out.

Refill as normal through the dipstick tube.
