Volvos at Carlilse Import show/swap meet

The import swap/meet in Carlilse,Pa was/is this weekend. VCOA did a nice job again this year and the event was great, despite less than perfect weather. Being realtively new to the volvo fold (12 yrs)--driving 200, 700, 900 cars--realzing that the the old 122 and 544s were quite a car in their day and are great looking cars-- and was nice to see the younger (teens-20s)crowds into them.
Was nice meeting Irv Gordon and seeing the C70 coupe he rcd from volvo for his 2 million mile mark. Driving rear wheel drive volvos and being a GM (chevy) fan--restore and own 60s muscle car,-am finding out the sensible quality of the older volvos and hope for growth of old volvos in the old car hobby.I must say--one of my favorites at the show was a 1979 244Gl with a chevy 350/TH 350 conversion with duals out the back-- happy driving---
