stalling at startup 200

Our 88 245 is starting to stall on a regular basis only on startup. It acts fine once the car has been warmed up for a bit.
Any comments would be greatly appreciated as to what to look at 1st.

My 1st thing to do this weekend is to replace the fuel filter...How do I releive the pressure. This is a new to us car and I don't know the last time it was changed so I may as well change it out.
I checked/cleaned the throttle body and and checked the wiring connections under the hood to the best of my ability last weekend.

What else should I be looking at? The fuel pump pressure, electical control unit, vacuum, coolant sensor......anything else??
I just get the feeling its fuel related, but you know how that goes.

Don't forget to tell how to releive the fuel pressure before replacing the filter.

Thanx for the help
