2nd try on 311 question 900 1994

Hi folks. I'm not sure if you all are afraid to give me the bad news or maybe it's an obscure question...

I'm getting a 3-1-1 code in position one. That seems to mean bad or missing rpm data. The transmission light also blinks. This is the only code stored in the diagnostic system.

I have the bad feeling that the transmission is slipping and the data from the engine rpm sensor and the transmission rpm sensor don't match.


Oh well, I should know for sure tomorrow since I'm giving up and taking it in to the dealer.
