Pulled a spark plug wire-no differnce in performance? 700

I was messing around with the new 740 and I pulled the #4 plug wire. It had a spark coming off of it, but there was almost no difference in performance with the wire on or off. Then I put it back on and pulled the 3, 2, 1. wires in order one at a time. There was also no noticible difference other then a brief <1 hesitation. Is the B230F able to run well on only 3 cylinders or does this mean that mine is running like crap and has another problem?
