I have a 240 that has 175,000 miles replace fuel filter, clean computer, tune up, and the car cranks and start sometimes but turns off after 1 minute that it has started. When I drive it did not have allot of power and it will just slow down until I press on the petal. The car does stay on if I leave the petal on the foot of the car. Nobody knows what could the problem be. The car start sometimes but it shuts of I am afraid of ruining the starter If I continue to do this. Is there any way that I could keep the car on and how do I do it without holding the gas petal to the floor. Any book that I could read or website on a 240 1990 that has 180,000 miles. Thanks
