Common Thread in 700 Series with repeated brake disc warping?? 700

We have a 90 740 T that loves to warp discs, no matter what is done to prevent the problem. Am wondering if there is a common thread.

1. ABS ?
2. which years?
3. Which model Bosch ABS? For instance the 91 940 SE has no problems (ours) and neither does the 93 940 T or the 87 740 GLE (non ABS).

Also realize that there are a number of Euro cars with the same problem such as BMW. It seems that there has to be a common culprit and am wondering if it could be the actual ABS system or a certain model and set up.
