plug gap ok at 0.032? 200 1989

240 sedan '89 222K km B230F

While doing the ignition tune-up this week, I gapped my NGKs to 0.032, thinking this was the 'recommended' manufacturer's gap.

Looking through previous posts I am thinking it should have been smaller like 0.028 - 0.030.

Should I regap, assuming they get changed every 6 months/25K kms? I drive 1000 kms highway per week.
