Over Involved in Fixing the Volvo 200

Just wanted to let you know we gave up on trying to fix the car for now. It starts and idles with or without the AMM plugged in. Stalls immediately when put in gear. We've changed the 25 amp, no go.
After six solid nights of fiddling we were going to smash her to bits if we didn't stop.
Next time we get back to it I'd like to check the circuit board under the passenger's knees that has to do with the fuel pump. It's white and has a plug on it, if I'm looking at the right thing, but how does it open?
I'll also look at this IAC again and try running the test that someone posted.
Also, is there fuel pump lines near the trunk that I can check? My son is always hauling alot of heavy stuff on that side of the car and I'm thinking maybe the weight dislodged something :/(Grasping at straws now) ~claudie~
