1991, 740, B230F, non-turbo
?
My understanding is that the AMM on the 91, 740 Regina system measures air temp; and the 240 measures air volume. At any rate, does it really matter either way? I mean the 240 has only run better since I removed the preheater hose and the air box stat. Can I do the same thing in the Regina 740? ... the Regina system is an ignition thing, and I do not see any problems.
Btw, I already took the preheater hose off the 740 a few years back without "any" problems. Probably saved the AMM lifespan.
Thanks diyer
