I had read an old message, possibly on this board though I can't find it now of putting the standard transmission over drive button elsewhere such as near the defrost switch. What buttons would be available to hook up for this purpose that would fit and where could I find one. I want to switch the shifter knob to a carbon looking one so the current one needs to go. The second thing is that I use Murphy's Miracle Oil in my gas and oil, this stuff also says it's good to add to transmissions, but having never used it for this purpose I am hesitating to do so. Have any of you used this and if so with good results or does it not matter. And last que€tion, what the highest RPM it's safe to drive in for any extended period on the highway, I make frequent long distance trips and want to do good speed but not at the expense of a long walk from no place. The transmission is in a 81 245. Thanx for any help. -Russ
