Turbo Down, Waste Gate Lever Arm Problem 900

At the bottom of the turbo exhaust side is a small lever arm that opens and closes the waist gate. Attached to this lever is the wastage actuator rod, held on to the lever by a small clip pin. Either on the board or in the FAQ I read that the clip pin will rust out and allow the actuator arm to drop off.

Well, is was very rusty and upon trying to remove it broke off, both ends, with the pin still in the lever. It has been soaking in PB Blaster and I still cannot push the remaining part of the pin out. There is not enough room to work in there so trying to push out the pin is proving very difficult.

I have managed to tape a bottle cap filled with PB so the lever part with the stuck pin can soak in but it is not breaking up the rust enough. I am looking for a more drastic chemical that can dissolve the iron oxide and allow me to push out the pin.

Once this bottle cap is in place I can safely place in any chemical, from the engine compartment, so the "drastic chemical" application means that there is a degree of safety in it's application. Any ideas?
