Power seat won't elevate S90-V90 1997

The drivers side power seat on my 1997 V90 won't elevate at the front. All other positions work OK. I can hear the motor running but no movement of the seat. Is this something I can possible repair myself or must I spent big bucks at the dealer? If someone can tell me what the likely problem is and how to get at it, I would be most appreciative.
