You don't say what year your car is, but it may well hve a "P" type OD, which is heavier duty than the "J".
I use MTL in my '87 with "P" OD; the shifting is greatly improved, and the OD is fine at 10PSI. Redline "Racing ATF" is type "F", as spec'ed for an M-46, though.
75w90 gaer oil is good for the rear end.
