Thanks for the reassurance, but did your 240 have the module with its considerable electronics that was powered by the rheostat and fed to the instrument lights? The actual rheostat is soldered on this circuit board contained in an L-shaped plastic enclosure approximately half the size of a cigarettte package. It has the red, blue, and black leads. Thanks again.
