142E Soundproofing results 140-160

A nice trick for the shifter hole (in conjunction with a boot) is to get a big sponge. Cut a hole in the middle, take off the shifter, and fit the sponge down over the tranny so it is squeezed between the top of the trans and the bottom of the tunnel. Then put the shifter and boot back on. It really keeps the wind and noise out. And only costs about $1.
