Last year I almost shipped a volvo from florida to albany NY. A transport guy I know told me to talk to a local car dealership and try to get a line on a transport "deadheading" back north after making a deliery to florida from detroit. Trains do most of this work so maybe talk to a rail broker too, they aren't going to make much $ so you will have to make it fun/interesting for them, maybe a spin in the car or some way of sweetening the deal.
