Idle speed and coughing engine 120-130

Hi!. For some months I use a electronic ignition on my 121. The ignition module was "fried" last week (the contact was set "on" with the engine off for more of a couple of minutes). Due it, I return to my old points distributor (a 036 first batch Bosch, with new points, condenser, rotor and cap) and, on the spirit of a clean start, I make a cleanup and calibration on my Zenith-Stromberg CD175 carb (sorry, in my country -Peru- the SUs are scarse, and due it, I remain with the Stromberg aboard).

Now, at cold start, my engine cough and stop after few revolutions (using the choke, of course). I need to press the acelerator slightly for ten or fiftheen seconds for prevent this problem. Of course, it is not my favorite way due if i press a bit more the accelerator, the rpm jump (and, with oil starting to circulate, it is not a desirable situation).

Probably, I need to open a bit more the butterfly accel valve on starting (by adjusting the correspondent screw on the choke assembly), but I could be wrong (for me, computers are a lot more easy to adjust and understand than cars).

Please, If somebody has on the past the same experience (or similar), please write me some lines about his/her experience. Of course, any recomendations are welcome.

Thanks,

Joaquin
