Overdrive problems - appended

well, I took a chance since I figured I had gotten it out of OD fine earlier in the evening and backed it out of hte parking space. it worked fine. got home, decided to check it more.
No problems to speak of. Engine was well within operating specs, up to temps and everything.

So I wonder if the solenoid is really the problem, or maybe I had a random electrical fluke. enough to turn off the OD light, but not disengage the solenoid?
