I need to replace the Washer Fluid tank

What series Volvo do you have? Are you sure the hose didn't pop off the bottom of the tank ? It connects to the pump at the bottom of the reservior.On the 240s there is a bracket that holds the tank in position.It's not hard to figure out how to remove it.
Unless the fluid froze,expanded and split the tank,it's probably hose related.
