The vacuum lines should be pretty snug so if you have one that almost falls off it should be addressed. Sometimes there will be enough "slack that you might be able to cut off an inch and reattach, but if the hose is starting to get hard you might as well replace it. Vacuum line is well under a buck a foot, I replaced all of the vacuum lines on my 83 Turbo for about $6.
