Doug,

I have used ArmorAll in the past, now use Vinylex or Griot's Garage Rubber preservative (also good for vinyl). These are non-silicone based, work really well. The big key (especially for rubber) is to have a clean surface - sunlight does oxidize the rubber. Griot's Garage also has rubber cleaner to prep the surface before applying preservative.
