wet fuses after car wash/heavy rain.. where to seal! 200 1986

Common occurrence on 240s, usually due to a windshield leak. I had a similar problem on my brick, and a local auto glass shop quickly found the spot.

They sprayed a thin layer of glass cleaner "foam" all around the edge of the windshield, on the OUTSIDE of the car. Next, the technicians blew a LOW stream of compressed air around the inside of the windshield. Bubbles immediately began to form at the spot where air leaked through.

You could remove the trim at this spot, clean it and apply a fresh layer of sealant. My windshield was already cracked and pitted in several places, so I had them to replace it and install new moulding all around. Everything has been dry for the past 20k miles and ### rain days.
