When I was younger It used to be a practical joke to tell "newbies" that the engine oil went in through the dipstick hole, but on an automatic trans. it really does....Honest, I usually keep a small funnel wraped in a clean rag stashed in a safe place under the hood. The rag keeps dirt out of the funnel and is handy when checking fluids.
