Nate's got most of it. There's been a debate on this subject, even on swedishbricks.com and other places. Usually it's a subject for the OPINIONS forum.

(1) They look like bricks - sorta rules out all but RWD models.
(2) They ride like bricks. American opinion of the firm European ride.
(3) They'll last as long as a brick. As Nate said, hit something, see who wins.
