I'll put it this way (this is the voice of salvage/reconstruction talking):

There are many wrecks like that, that are very worth the effort and the money to rebuild. That isn't one of them.

The car was hit in one of the worst spots.

Strut assembly
balljoint
control arm
tie rod
tie rod end
sway bar end link
poss. sway bar
frame rail is caved
strut tower is moved over
front of car has sidesway damage

It isn't a hard fix, but it isn't an easy fix either. You need to have the frame pulled straight first (several hours of straightening time), and then mount the parts. The suspension and sheet metal parts (junkyard) are cheap. The front end plastic is NOT cheap.

A body shop might run up $5000 in charges to set that one back up. You might actually commit a couple thousand of ACTUAL charges even if you did some of the work yourself. There is no way to make a wreck like that feasible with 200k, on an 86.
