Flywheel resurfacing advice, please 200 1979

If the locating holes for the dowel pins go all the way through,
have them knock them out from the back side and save them for you.
While you could probably tolerate a stepped flywheel it is not really
a very good deal.

The heavy tool support is good but the difference between cutting and
grinding is great and you will be a LOT better off getting it ground.
Even with the best of heavy duty carbide tools, hard spots respond to
machining a LOT different than to grinding. Get it ground if you can.
