Where do I buy a Turbo ??? 700

Well it looks like my Turbo is going to have to be replaced.

Although I have some mechanical experience, I can't say I've ever darred replace a turbo. Is it fairly straightforward or are there "experienced gained" tricks?

But more importantly, the local guy wants $225 to do the work, and another $650 for a rebuilt. I'm wondering if any of you guys know where I can get one? And I'll do the work myself.

Oh yes, my car is a 1988 740 Trubo Wagon Intercooler. But I don't know what make/kind the Turbo it is. I guess I'll have to find that out too....
