check the archives - search under heater fan replacement - or something near that.
This item has been written about so often that the archive contains all the shortcuts.
The easiest way is to cut out the ends of the fan housings with a dremel tool, remove the fans, and then remove the fan motor. Make the holes in the end large as you can, so that the fans will come through them.
Just before you remove or completely cut out the end pieces, drill 3 pairs of holes (1/8" +-) one hole outside the cut line, the other hole insode the end piece. The two 1/8" holes should be about 3/8" apart.
To re-assemble, Have small nylon tie straps that fit through the holes. Tie strap the end pieces on, then seal the cut with silicone or caulking.
This method is WAY easier than tryingto undo all the clips and removing the housing parts...
There are plenty more tips in the archives.
