I'm sure you'll find lots of volvophiles in the Atlanta area (I live in Florida, though). When you DO get together, suggest you form a VCOA chapter (website: Http://www.vcoa.org). They have the Volvo NA factory mailing list and can help you guys out in a hundred ways. Good Luck...and have fun!
