Compression Ratios

Hi all,

Just a quick question. I have been told the head gaskets and heads of a Turbo and N/A, B230 are the same. Question.....How is the Compression Ratio changed between the two different engines? Secondly....If the difference is the crank or connecting rods or something similar, can a turbo engine that is out of a vehicle be converted easily to N/A form?

I have a N/A wagon and access to a really good turbo engine in a fire damaged turbo car. Only the engine is really salvagable, the accesories and turbo bits are history.

Thanks in advance for any help given.
