No...not wife....ICU's!
I have a no-start on my 89 nonturbo 740...no current to coil...think a bad ICU.
Will read codes later this morning( if car still in one piece after being overnight at a Middle School near a poverty stricken Barrio). I will clean off any corrosion on the contacts with my magic brass bristle brush.Then spray on PBlaster.
Also have 2 ICU's on hand.
Both Bosch.
#'s= 0 227 400 146 (89 740, B230)
0 227 400 209 (92 240, B230)
Both seem to work with 88-93 B230 EZ116K Bosch (from RPR manual).
I will swap both of them in to see which one works better.
Any one have a clue where we can go to see which ICU,ECU etc fits which car?
This would be extremely helpful for us Ebay addicts.
