Is it possible to push start an automatic?

I'd have to agree that it probably wouldn't work. Again though, in the days of yore, I had a '64 Jaguar MK10. Huge beast of a car. And the owners manual actually gave instructions for roll-starting the car with an automatic. I never tried it though. It always started perfectly... Go figure.
